Lakelandite Dragon

A guardian shaped from the ancient fire of the Lake District...

Weighing almost 1.5 kilograms, this impressive Dragon was entirely carved by hand from rare English Lakelandite. Its flowing ridges, powerful features and watchful eyes give the sculpture a calm but commanding presence.

The dark volcanic stone is filled with naturally formed pale green bytownite crystals. Part of the original rough surface has been preserved, maintaining a visible connection between the finished Dragon and the ancient stone from which it emerged.

Lakelandite formed approximately 470 million years ago and is associated with grounding, protection and ancestral strength.
