The Forest Watcher was entirely carved by hand from natural Chrome Diopside and weighs 547 grams. Its deeply set eyes, powerful brow and strong, uncompromising features give this Stone Being a calm but unmistakable authority.

A large part of the original crystalline surface has deliberately been preserved. It forms a rugged natural crown above the carved face, keeping the finished sculpture visibly connected to the raw stone from which it emerged.

Chrome Diopside is admired for its rich forest-green colour and its strong connection with nature. Metaphysically, it is associated with the heart, emotional renewal, compassion and the restoration of inner balance.
