Preseli Bluestone Skull

This distinctive Preseli Bluestone skull reveals a softer palette of yellowish-grey tones, cream markings and darker mineral patterns. Its natural colouring lends the sculpture an earthy, weathered appearance… beautifully suited to a face that seems to hold its own quiet wisdom.

The rounded crown, deep eye sockets and pronounced cheekbones give this skull a substantial presence. Individually carved teeth and a clearly defined jaw bring detail and expression, while the polished surface reveals the intricate character of the stone.

Preseli Bluestone originates in the Preseli Hills of Pembrokeshire, Wales, the landscape that supplied the dolerite bluestones used at Stonehenge. This connection gives the material a remarkable place in Britain’s prehistoric heritage.

Here, that monumental story takes an intimate form… a sculpture weighing 1,219 grams, shaped by hand from stone connected to one of the world’s most mysterious ancient monuments.

Preseli Bluestone is associated with grounding, inner strength and a deep connection to the earth. It is valued as a companion for meditation, intuitive exploration and reflection on ancestral connections.

Combined with the symbolism of the skull, these associations invite contemplation of life, transformation and the wisdom gathered through experience. The Earth Keeper offers a meaningful focus for finding stillness, listening inward and remaining rooted during times of change.
